At least they are doing the job to inject some young player, of course the process is quite hard with inexperienced young and old near the end.

It's what await football too, even worse with the anti young politics we had the last years

That comparison is a bit weird. Should it not then be more white players in the US team based on how the demographics in the US look?

Usman Garuba, the black player in Spain, was born and raised in Madrid.

Despite the 0-5 showing at the World Cup, the future looks bright.

Amini looks like a star and has the prototypical build for an NBA wing. 6’7” and a nice combination of speed, strength, and athleticism for his size and position. Crazy to think he’s still gonna be just 22 at the next World Cup. It’s truly massive that’s he’s already in the development system of one of Europes best clubs. Doubt he’d make this big of an impact at 18 if he was still playing in Iran. He’s grown a lot just in the last year. I think Monaco will start giving him more burn with the senior team this season, especially after seeing how he can play and shine against senior pros in a World Cup. Getting a chance to play role player minutes for a Euroleague contender would give him even more exposure than he already has and will have him ready for either the 2024 or 2025 draft

Aside from Amini, I was impressed with several other of the other youngsters. Although he didn’t provide scoring, I was impressed with Girgoorian’s (21 yrs) ability to be a primary ball handler as a 6’6” wing. Aghajanpour (22) flashed some nice shotmaking ability and Sina Vahedi (22) looks to be a solid point guard for the future.

Would be nice if these 3 also get a move to Europe. They likely don’t have an NBA future but they could certainly carve out solid careers in Europe, which would be very important for TM to truly develop and start making more noise

congratulations for not finishing 32 out of 32 teams.
Still great to be #31 in the whole world...only 10 spot lower than futball.

Yes it should be like this but at least black people have a huge presence in the US. There are a big minority there.
              Nothing compared to Spain

Why did Kazemi filter out of the nba so fast? I remember we were talking about it years ago here when he was drafted

And what a great career for Haddadi. Thanks for all the memories

Amazing rebounder, good dunker and good screener

But if you are a 6'7 PF in the NBA and can't shoot at all you don't have much of a career waiting for you

6'7 in NBA is really tall shooting guard , definate small forward......AS small forward you hVe to be able to shoot...if he was 6'9 that's starting height of true power forward and he could of overcome his lack of shooting by defense and rebounding...that 2" makes big difference.

Above average college player to even get drafted..
he could of made carreer for himself in CBA and euro leagues and try laNd 10 days contract towards end of nba season like a lot of second round draft picks
                            HVe done

We complain a lot but they did big thing from scratch : civil war, country founded in 2011, no infrastructures
