Osasuna boss Jose Antonio Camacho was without midfielder Francisco Juanfran who is out for one month with an appendicitis.

The Basque side started the match on the attack and should have broke the deadlock, but Pandiani and Shojaei missed the target while Camunas effort was brilliantly saved by Sergio Aragones.

Osasuna finally found the back of the net three minutes after the restart thanks to Carlos Aranda who beat the goalkeeper after a neat pass from Camunas.

The lone goal proved to be enough as Camacho’s men grabbed their fourth straight league victory which puts them 9th in the table.

Javad Nekounam displayed a solid perfomance, especially in the first half when his side had the most of possession. Masoud Shojaei who was replacing Juanfran on the rightwing also had a satisfying performance despite several judgement errors.
