Reds advance in Hazfi Cup [VIDEO]

PFDC – BUSHEHR, Persepolis Tehran edged out Iranjavan of Bushehr in Iran’s Elimination cup in the 16th final round on Tuesday, achieving a 2-1 victory. The match took place all the Shahid Beheshti Stadium in Bushehr. Persepolis won the game.

Early in the seventeenth minute of the match the reds’ captain, Karim Bagheri, gave Persepolis the lead with a strong finish, thanks to Hadi Norouzi’s assist.

However, the game was tied up, when Ehtesham Sassani’s shot ended up in the back of the net.

Six minutes into second half Persepolis Tehran regained the lead, when Iraqi star footballer Hawar Mullah Mohammad scored the winning goal that led the former Iran Pro League champions to the next round.
