Esteghlal beats Pas 1-0 in IPL [VIDEO]

PTV – TEHRAN, Farhad Majidi’s winner goal sealed a home victory for Esteghlal over Pas, keeping the Blues in the race for Iran’s Premier League title.

Majidi’s goal, which came in the 77th minute, secured Esteqlal’s fourth place with 49 points, one point behind rival Persepolis, which drew 1-1 with Malavan on Friday.

Earlier Monday, Mes thrashed Foulad 4-0 to move up to the 14th place and avoid relegation for the time being. On Sunday, Sepahan beat Shahin 2-0 to retain its top spot in IPL with 59 points, six points clear of Zob Ahan, which was held to a goalless draw against Rah Ahan the same day.
