PFDC – PALMA DE MALLORCA, C.A. Osasuna suffered a 0-2 defeat against RCD Mallorca on Monday evening. Despite a weak performance by the Basque side, RCD couldn’t manage to dominate José Antonio Camacho’s men.

Both teams showed an overall weak performance, nevertheless it was Rubén in 36th minute who scored the lead for the home side. Osasuna tried to gain control of the match in the second half, but still failed to score the equalizer.

On the stroke of full time, RCD insisted on protecting the 1-0 lead to the final whistle but Mallorca’s Keita saved the victory for his team with a wonderful goal (90.) after a brilliant counterattack.

The Iranian International Masoud Shojaei surprisingly started from the beginning as a shadow striker behind forward Aranda but was subbed out during halftime after showing an up-and-down performance.

His Iranian compatriot, Javad Nekounam, missed the match due to injury.
