Zob Ahan faces Mes: Do-or-die in ACL

MNA – ISFAHAN, Iranian team Zob Ahan of Isfahan will host its compatriot Mes of Kerman in the Asian Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday.

Zob Ahan, who is the first team in ACL Group B, will play Mes, which finished second in Group D. The match will be held in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium.

“I am happy that three Iranian teams have reached this round of the tournament. We wanted to stay in the Iran League and we succeeded, and now we can focus on the Champions League,” Bonacic told AFC.

Zob Ahan players Mohammad Salsali and Farshad Talebi will miss the match due to their injuries.

“This game will be both difficult and exciting for us. The players have been trying really hard and the spectators have been supportive. I hope we reach the next round,” Zob Ahan coach Mansour Ebrahimzadeh said.
