Persepolis land Ansarifard deal
PFDC – TEHRAN, Persepolis Tehran have completed their first major transfer coup for the new season, signing young Iranian international striker Karim Ansarifard from Saipa Karaj.
The 20-year-old, who can also play as attacking midfielder, was already rumoured to join the “Reds” for a while, as he had been discovered by current Persepolis coach Ali Daei at Saipa in 2007.
Ansarifard scored 16 goals for Saipa since then, and also scored twice in his eight national team appearances.
Meanwhile, Milad Zanidpour left Rah Ahan and signed with Steel Azin. The 24-year-old offensive allrounder reportedly also was on Ali Daei’s list, however, went for the financially stronger Tehran rivals.
