Iran football federation rejects talking to Novellino

MNA – TEHRAN, Iran football federation president Ali Kaffashian said on Wednesday that they have not negotiated with Italian coach Walter Novellino.

Iranian media reported Novellino has received a £500,000 offer from the federation as well as a bid from Seri A side Sampdoria.

“I don’t know why these stories have been published. We have not talked to the coach,” he said in the news conference.

According to Goal, the former Napoli coach has been asked to coach Iran national football team.
