Iran’s U19 win and lose in Germany

PFDC – GERMANY, Iran’s U19 also won their second of three test matches withing three days in Germany on Friday, but suffered a defeat the final game on Saturday.

After rightwinger Alishah’s brace had handed the Iranian youngsters a 2-1 win over Westfalia Herne on Wednesday, goals by Rezaei, Sadeghian and Karimi sealed a comfortable 3-0 victory over KFC Uerdingen a day later.

However, on Saturday Vfl Bochum was too strong for the exhausted teenagers, who suffered a 0-1 defeat.

Iran are preparing for the AFC U19 Asian Cup in autumn.
