PFDC – TEHRAN, Perspolis Tehran started their IPL championship campaign successfully. The Reds defeated Teraktorsazi Tabriz 1-0 in Tehran Azadi Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Iranian national team player Gholam Reza Rezaei’s goal in the 46th minute ensured a comfortable and never endangered victory in front of 45.000 spectactors.
IPL champion Sepahan Esfahan drew Rahahan in a balanced opening match in Shahr-e-Rey.
Amin Motevasselzadeh helped Rahahan taking the lead after 32 minutes. Returnee Gholam Reza Enayati scored the equalizer six minutes after the half-time break.
