The Tehran top club was supposed to collect another three points after their home victory this week. Despite 90 minutes of attacking football by the Tehran Reds, Saba Battery striked twice in Qom.
Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh (13′) and Mohsen Bayat (32′) scored for Saba Battery. Perspolis’ Mohammad Nouri could only score the equalizer in the 29th minute.
IPL Champion Sepahan tied Malavan Anzali 0-0 in Esfahan.
