Masoud to stay at Osasuna?

PFDC – PAMPLONA, Brazilian Roversio Rodrigues is on his way out Pamplona according to his agent.

“There is a good possibility to see Roversio leave Osasuna. He does not have the trust of Camacho.”

According to reports, the central defender could join second division side Real Betis in the coming days.

Roversio’s exit would open the door for Masoud Shojaei as it will resolve the problem of the number of non-EU players in the club.

Few weeks ago, Osasuna board had made it clear that the Iranian would not be included in the squad for next season. But despite interests from Turkey’s Bucaspor and La Liga’s Real Zaragoza, the versatile midfielder remained with the Basque side although it seemed to be clear that he was surplus to requirements.

However, Camacho declared today that with the signing of Manuel “Lolo” Toribio and the possible signing of Stankevicius, the priority was now the midfield and that Masoud could still help the club.
