Zanjan, Khuzestan eager to embrace VA
Zanjan Football Association President Esfahanian said his side will complete the required structure and administration of his association because VA supplements their current programme perfectly.
“We have received good information about the VA programme and we hope to do our tasks completely.
“It is supplementary to our current programme and we are looking forward to the AFC’s assessment visit in future,” he said.
Esfahanian also felt that it is important to enlist the cooperation of everyone involved in football in the province.
“I feel all provincial stakeholders should be involved. This way, we will all feel more responsible for the results as well as the key elements of the VA programme.”
Meanwhile, Khouzestan Football Association General Secretary Yaghoubi was happy for having understood the overall picture of VA.
He said: “We did not understand the concept of VA previously but now, we do. We had thought VA did not work on the administration part but actually, it is the first key point in the overall programme.”
Yaghoubi was also confident that football in his province will see big changes because of VA.
“If we implement VA completely, it can help our football development and we will see the big changes in our football activities.
“Our President has said that Vision Asia and education are two key elements that we should work and focus on since our province has great potential to go far in football in the country,” enthused Yaghoubi.
A VA team from AFC was in the two provinces on October 5 to conduct Pre-Assessment Visits for the implementation of Vision Asia, which is AFC’s plan to raise the standard of football across the continent at all levels.
