MNA – ANAPOLIS, Iran lost to Spain in the semifinal of the Futsal Grand Prix Brazil 2010 on Friday night.
Iran was defeated by Spain 6-4 at the Newton Faria Hall in Anapolis, Brazil.
The Persians will have to face Paraguay in the bronze medal match while host Brazil will play Spain in the final game.
Brazil is the tournament’s most successful team with five championships, and Iran is number two by winning second place twice.
Brazil’s Futsal Grand Prix is an international competition similar to the FIFA Futsal World Championship, but the difference is that the participant countries are invited by the host nation.
