Iran loses to N. Korea in AFC U-16 Championship

Loading...MNA – TASHKENT, Defending champion Iran was defeated by North Korea in the 2010 AFC U-16 Championship on Tuesday.
DPR Korea moved top of Group B following an impressive 2-0 defeat of Iran football team at the JAR Stadium.
Kang Nam-gwon and Jong Kwang-sok secured victory for the Korean team in the 21st and 31st minutes.
North Korea is now level on four points with Syria but ahead of the West Asian team on goal difference. Iran is third with three points while Oman has no any point in the group.
North Korea defender Kim Chol-bom was sent off for a reckless challenge in the 81st minute.
Iran is scheduled to play Syria on Thursday.
