Iranians impress in Osasuna win [VIDEO]

PFDC – PAMPLONA, Javad Nekounam and Masoud Shojaei started in Osasuna’s 3-0 thrashing of Hercules in La Liga on Sunday and showed pleasing performances.

Lolo, Monreal and Vadocz scored for the Basques, who are now in 12th position of the table.

Masoud Shojaei, who was subbed out three minutes from time, knew to impress and should have secured his starting lineup spot for the next game.

Javad Nekounam played the full 90 minutes and again was one of the most outstanding players on the field, certainly having won the Osasuna fans’ hearts back after the turmoil around his and Shojaei’s delayed arrival to the team’s preseason camp.
