viranAFC – TEHRAN, The Iran Football Federation (IRIFF) on November 11, 2010 agreed to make amendments to the statutes it developed for its provincial FAs involved in the AFC’s continental development programme Vision Asia (VA).

IRIFF will take the suggested amendments to its Congressional meeting in the next couple of weeks for discussion and approval.

The amendments were proposed so that the statutes would meet the AFC Vision Asia principles and that VA would not need to work with the project FAs individually to amend the statutes.

Several matters were discussed between the AFC’s VA delegation led by the AFC’s Vision Asia Director Michelle Chai and the IRIFF’s officials led by its President Ali Kafashian on November 11.

Among them were the importance of having a fulltime English speaking Vision Iran coordinator, finalisation of documents for the Vision Iran projects before June 30 every year and the Vision Asia Championship which may be held next year, which the IRIFF expressed keenness to host.

It was also agreed that the AFC would provide the Vision Asia related documents or templates to the IRIFF for their projects.

The AFC will also present the new Vision Asia Policy to the Vision Iran Project FAs in the Vision Iran Seminar to be held this month or December. A meeting with the IRIFF will be held one day before the seminar.
