Iran to play Angola behind closed doors
MNA – DOHA, Iran football team will play a friendly against Angola in Doha on Sunday.
Iran, who is gearing up for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup, will face the African team at the Al Sadd Stadium with no spectators.
It is the second time that two teams play together. Iran was held to a 1-1 draw by Angola in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Iran has been drawn in the Asian Cup in Group D along with defending champion Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and North Korea.
The 2011 AFC Asian Cup will be held in Doha from January 7 to 29.
