Nekounam on target in La Liga

PFDC – PAMPLONA, Javad Nekounam scored his fifth goal of the season in Osasuna’s 3-1 victory over Racing Santander on Sunday.

Nekounam, who showed an excellent performance, scored the 2-0 after 24 minutes from the penalty spot.

While the defensive midfielder played the full game, his countryman Masoud Shojaei remained on the bench this time.

In Germany Ali Karimi remains uncapped for Schalke 04. The 32-year-old playmaker didn’t come off the bench both in the Champions League victory on Wednesday as well as in the late Bundesliga victory on Saturay.
