Mohammad Nosrati joins Persepolis

MNA – TEHRAN, Former Traktorsazi defender Mohammad Nosrati joined Persepolis on a one-year contract.

Nosrati, who had reportedly reached an agreement with Persepolis’ arch-rival ,Esteghlal, signed a contract with the Reds on Monday.

“Esteghlal officials were not committed to what they had said and I preferred to join Persepolis. I will do my best in Persepolis during the Iran Professional League and the AFC Champions League seasons,” Nosrati said.

Iran’s 30-year-old international defender was member of Persepolis in 2007-08 season and scored one goal in 30 games for the Tehran based team.
