Iran drops two places in FIFA rankings
MNA – ZURICH, Iran has moved down two places in the latest world football rankings released by FIFA on Wednesday.
In the world rankings Iran moved down to 50th with 578 points.
The team has stayed in fourth place among Asian teams, behind Japan (925), Australia (829), and South Korea (787) respectively.
Spain remains on top of the rankings with 1871 points, followed by the Netherlands (1661points) and Germany(1417points).
Iran traveled to Austria on Wednesday to hold a 13-day training camp in Loipersdorf. Carlos Queiroz’s men will take on Ukrainian football team Metalist Kharkiv in the camp.
