Loading...PFDC – TEHRAN/WOLFSBURG, German star coach Felix Magath will most probably work together with another Iranian international. Malavan’s Mehrdad Oladi (26) is reportedly hunted by German giants VfL Wolfsburg.
VfL Wolfsburg and Felix Magath are keen on signing the Iranian striker Mehrdad Oladi, according to several reports by the Iranian media.
The 26-year-old gifted offensive player impressed Magath during a two-week trial of his former club Schalke 04, two years ago. Due to military service in his homeland, Oladi wasn’t able to enrich his career with a possible move to the German Bundesliga.
For the same reason, the current national team player couldn’t sign with the Spanish club Deportivo Xerez back in 2009.
Oladi is currently attending a training camp of the Iranian national team in Austria for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against the Maldives in July.
