Esteghlal eyes Dortmund legend Dede

MNA – TEHRAN, Esteghlal is likely to sign Dortmund legend Dede, according to the Iranian media reports.

Esteghlal has dropped a bombshell when its officials announced that they are going to sign Dede, whose contract has not been renewed with Borussia Dortmund.

Dede joined Dortmund in 1998 and has played 319 Bundesliga games for the team. He won two Bundesliga titles with the team in 2001-02 and 2010-11 seasons.

Dede made one cap for Brazil in the team’s 4–1 win over Hungary in April 2004. The 33-year midfielder has also played in Atletico Mineiro.

The Iranian club has already signed Iraqi Karrar Jassim for the coming season.
