Ralf Zumdick appointed Persepolis assistant coach
MNA – TEHRAN, Germany’s Ralf Zumdick has been named Persepolis football team’s assistant coach.
Zumdick, who has worked at Bochum, Ghana football team, and Genclerbirligi as coach and Hamburger and Borussia Dortmund as assistant, joined Persepolis on a one-year contract.
“Zumdick has joined us as a top adviser. He will help us in terms of technical issues. Persepolis is well-prepared to have a good season in the Iran Professional League,” Persepolis coach Hamid Estili said.
Persepolis’s arch-rival Esteghlal has already signed German Michael Henke on a two-year contract.
