TM_2011PFDC – TEHRAN, Iran will kick off their World Cup qualification round 2 against Indonesia in Tehran on September 2.

Four days later, Carlos Queiroz’ men will travel to Doha to face Qatar in the second match of group E.

Qualification will continue for Team Melli with the homegame against Bahrain on October 11, followed by two away games against Bahrain and Indonesia on November 11 and 15.

The final match, the homegame against Qatar will then take place on February 29.

The matches occupy all FIFA matchdays until June 2012 with the exception of August 11 and October 6, which could be used for official friendly games.

However, due to a tight Iranian league schedule and Queiroz’ vacation until the middle of the month, it looks like Team Melli will not use the opportunity in August and instead will start their campaign without any previous friendly matches.
