Persepolis midfielder Mohammad out for four weeks
MNA – TEHRAN, Persepolis midfielder Alireza Mohammad will be sidelined for four weeks after suffering an injury during the match against Esteghlal on Friday.
“I think Mohammad’s left hand has broken and he will be out of action for at least a month, however we will have to wait for more scans,” Persepolis doctor Vajihollah Cheshmesari said.
Persepolis midfielder Ali Karimi also injured himself in the match but his injury is not that serious and the player could feature in the team in the coming games, according to the doctor.
Persepolis lost to Esteghlal 2-0 in Tehran derby in the Iran Professional League.
