Former Esteghlal midfielder files complaint to FIFA
MNA – TEHRAN, Former Esteghlal midfielder Paulo Rinaldo has complained to FIFA after the Tehran-based football club violated the conditions of the contract the Peruvian signed with the club.
Rinaldo has complained to FIFA since the Iranian club has not paid him $100,000 for the remainder of his contract. FIFA has imposed a month-long deadline for Esteghlal to make the payment, Esteghlal website announced on Tuesday.
FIFA has warned Esteghlal of deducting six points if the club failed to pay Rinaldo before that deadline.
Rinaldo, who currently is a member of Chievo Verona, joined Esteghlal in 2009 but could not find himself in the starting lineup due to an injury.
