Kazemian added to Team Melli list

PFDC – TEHRAN, Javad Kazemian was added to the Iranian squad as 22nd player on Sunday.

Carlos Queiroz named the 30-year-old Persepolis Tehran striker as first of possibly three additions to his initial 21-men roster for the friendly match against Palestine (October 5) and the World Cup qualifier against Bahrain (October 11), both in Tehran’s Azadi stadium.

The Portugese also mentioned that one or two further players could be added after today’s IPL matches, in which Sepahan routed Saipa 4-0 and Zob Ahan were held to a 1-1 draw by Naft Tehran.

Commenting on the Ashkan Dejagah case, Queiroz mentioned that there is still a chance that the Vfl Wolfsburg striker could join the team for the upcoming games.
