PFDC – PAMPLONA, Osasuna scored an important 3-0 victory over Real Zaragoza in La Liga on Sunday evening.
Raul Garcia and Nino brought Osasuna 2-0 in front before Iranian international Javad Nekounam, who had already been directly involved in the creation of the first goal, added a third with a beautiful header.
The Team Melli captain used the opportunity to remind of his unlucky country- and clubmate Masoud Shojaei, who is out with a lengthy injury, holding up a shirt with Shojaei’s picture during his celebrations.
Osasuna are now in tenth position of the table after nine rounds.
