Osasuna beat La Liga leaders

PFDC – PAMPLONA, Javad Nekounam and CA Osasuna defeated Primera Division surprise team and table-toppers UD Levante 2-0 on Sunday.

Cejudo and Nino’s consecutive goal near the end of first half brought the hosts in excellent position.

However, the win was endangered when Cejudo received his marching orders one minute from the hourmark.

But Osasuna, also thanks to a good performance by Nekounam in defensive midfield, could hold on to the lead which saw them climb to seventh position of the ranking.
