Draconic penalties after Persepolis goal celebration

PFDC – TEHRAN, Perspolis chairman Mohammad Royanian declared heavy financial penalties and furthermore one sacking in consequence of the Perspolis celebration incident during the Iranian Pro League match against Damash Gilan.

According to the Iranian news agency “ISNA”, Mohammad Nosrati (30) and Sheys Rezaei (27) will face a fine worth 250 Mio Toman ($194,000), respectively 300 Mio Toman ($230,000).

Both players could face additional punishment from the Iranian Football Federation and legal prosecution.
