PFDC – TEHRAN/ABU DHABI, Iran is rumoured to play the Ivorian football national team in mid-January.

The Ivory Coast will be holding a training camp at the Persian Gulf in January to prepare for the upcoming African Cup of Nations in 2012.

The Iranian football national team will again travel to Abu Dhabi to face stars like Chelsea’s Didier Drogba, Man-City’s Kolo Touré or Stuttgart’s Arthur Boka in a friendly match which is likely to take place in mid-January.

Both sides are close to reach an agreement, the deal has yet to be finalized by both federations.

The same enterprise which organized the Brazil friendly in 2010 (0-3) and the Russia friendly in 2011 (1-0), is again acting as a middleman this time between Iran and Ivory Coast.
