Farhad Majidi joins Al Gharafa

TEHRAN TIMES – DOHA, Esteghlal Captain Farhad Majidi joined Al Gharafa of Qatar for the rest of the season. 

Majidi joined the Qatari club due to personal problems. Details of the player’s contract have not been revealed.

Majidi started his career with Iranian team Bahman and then joined Esteghlal after two years.

He played for Austrian club Rapid Wien and Al Ahli, Al Ain and Al Wasl of the UAE as well.

The 34-year-old striker has won 45 caps for Iran and scored 10 goals.
