Mohsen Bayatinia banned for doping
TEHRAN TIMES – KERMAN, Mes of Kerman striker Mohsen Bayatinia has been banned by Anti-Doping Committee of Iran Football Federation on Saturday.
The 32-year-old player has been suspended for one year after testing positive for methylhexaneamine, head of Iran Anti-Doping Committee Ahmad Hashemian said.
“Bayatinia tested positive during a doping control after the match between Mes of Kerman and Mes of Sarcheshmeh in Iran Professional League,” Hashemian said.
This is the second time Bayatinia tested positive for illegal substance. In December 2010, during his stint in Saba Battery football team, he was suspended for three months after using sibutramine, which is considered a banned substance.
