We must win our home game, Denizli says

Loading...TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Persepolis coach Mustafa Denizli said that they need three points in the match against Zob Ahan in Iran Professional League (IPL).
Speaking on Saturday at the news conference ahead of Zob Ahan match, Denizli said, “Persepolis must win its home game. We’ve won our two previous home games. Without a doubt, Zob Ahan is a great team and always wants to be at the top of the table but we also want to make our fans happy.”
The 63-year-old defended Persepolis keeper Misagh Memarzadeh, who made blunders against Sanat Naft last week. Denizli said, “Each keeper could have a bad day and in my opinion Misagh had a bad day.”
“Azadi Stadium is our home and we must win in our home. The fans come here to see their team’s win,” he declared.
“Unfortunately, I have not seen Zob Ahan matches and I just concentrated in my team’s performance. I need to know more about my players. As you know, we have to take part in the AFC Champions League,” Denizli concluded.
