Persepolis defeats Paykan in warm-up

TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Persepolis beat Paykan 1-0 in a friendly held in Tehran’s Derafshifar ground on Saturday.
 
Mohammad Nosrati and Sheis Rezaei played for first time since they were suspended from the country’s professional league for an “immoral” goal-scoring celebration in October.
 
Persepolis is gearing up for the match against Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the AFC Champions League group stage, which will be held on March 7 in Riyadh.
