No excuse for defeat: Paulo Autuori

TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Qatar football coach Paulo Autuori said that there is no excuse for defeat against Iran in a World Cup qualifier.
 
Speaking in a pre-match news conference ahead of Iran clash, Autuori said: “We have a tough task against Iran since they have a great coach and good players, however football is an unpredictable sport.”
 
“We are going to do our best against Iran and there is no excuse for my team. I’ve been recently named as Qatar coach but I know my players good and we are going to get result against Iran,” the 56-year-old Brazilian said.
 
Iran is already through to the final qualifying round, while Qatar and Bahrain are trying to book a place for the stage.
