We fight for top spot: Carlos Queiroz

TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz said that on Tuesday they are going to top Group E in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
 
The Persians will meet Qatar on Wednesday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
 
“Iran is through to the next phase but we want to top the group. We are fully concentrated on this match and without a doubt we will qualify for the fourth round as the top team,” Queiroz told reporters at the pre-match news conference.
 
“Iran has achieved progress during the past matches but we still have room to improve. We have not yet finished,” he said.
 
“Match against Qatar is not a must-win game but we want to win,” the 59-year-old added.
