Candidates for Monday’s IFF presidential election [VIDEO]
TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Mohammad Hossein Gharib and Aziz Mohammadi will challenge Ali Kaffashian for the presidency of Iran Football Federation (IFF) on Monday.
Gharib was the president of Iran’s Esteghlal from 2004 to 2007, when they won the IPL title in 2006.
Head of the Iran Professional League (IPL) Aziz Mohammadi is also vying for the job.
Ali Kaffashian was appointed head of the Football Federation with an overwhelming majority when he got the job in January 2008 and is hopeful he can retain his current position at the helm of the organization.
