Esteghlal close on Sepahan’s heels

PFDC – TEHRAN, Esteghlal crushed Saba Battery of Qom today at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran; the result puts Esteghlal a step ahead to grasp the title away from current leader Sepahan.

The Blues managed to come of to a great start off a Fereydoon Zandi pass, finding defender Pejman Montazeri who made no mistake in sliding the ball past Saba’s keeper.
