Frederic Kanoute reaches agreement with Mes

TEHRAN TIMES – KERMAN, Frederic Kanoute has reached an agreement with Mes football club to join their ranks.
 
The French-born Malian striker, who currently plays for Sevilla, will come to Kerman to sign a contract.
 
“We’ve held discussions with the 35-year-old striker and reached agreement with him to sign him on to a one-year contract,” a Mes official said.
 
Kanoute was named the 2007 African Footballer of the Year and was the first player born outside of Africa to win it.
