Uzbekistan coach calls up 30 men for Iran clash
UzDaily.com – Tashkent, Uzbekistan national team head coach Vadim Abramov invited 30 football players to a training camp, which will be held before the matches against Iran and Lebanon.
Uzbekistan will play against Iran on 3 June and Lebanon on 8 June within the fourth qualification round of the FIFA 2014 World Cup.
The Uzbekistan Football Federation said that Abramov invited 30 players to the squad, including 16 players playing in foreign leagues.
Server Jeperov, Sanjar Tursunov, Vagiz Galiulin, Shavkat Mullajonov and Islom Tokhtkodjaev will not be able to help Uzbekistan in the match against Iran due to suspensions.
Maksim Shatskikh, Bakhodir Nasimov and Aziz Khaydarov can also miss the matches due to illness or injuries.
Uzbekistan team will gather for training camp in Tashkent on 22 May and can play friendly match on 27 May 2012.
