Parvin likely to coach Persepolis

TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Ali Parvin, the sporting director of Persepolis football team, has become a candidate to coach the team.
 
According to reports, Persepolis officials have yet to find a coach for the team with about 20 days remaining to start of the Iran Professional League and they are forced to appoint a coach as soon as possible.
 
Other reports suggested that Parvin has not accepted the role.
 
Parvin is the Persepolis’s most decorated member as a player and coach.
 
The 65-year-old inspired Persepolis to win the championship of the first edition of the Iranian Professional League as coach. Parvin also led Iran football team to win the Asian Games in 1990 in Beijing.
