Iran plan Tunisia friendly
PFDC – TEHRAN, Iran might play a friendly match against Tunisia in Hungary on August 13, two days ahead of a FIFA matchday.
“The negotiations are ongoing but the contract has not yet been signed,” the vice-president of Iran’s Football Federation, Mohammad-Hadi Ayatollahi, told Tehran Times.
Team Melli will hold a one-week training camp in Hungary and are looking for a quality opposition towards the end of the camp.
Reportedly, Tunisia coach Sami Trabelsi already gave his approval for playing Iran.
Iran is scheduled to face Lebanon in Beirut on September 11 and South Korea in Tehran on October 16 in World Cup qualifying and already scheduled friendly matches against Syria and North Korea ahead of the games.
