Dejagah impresses in China [VIDEO]

PFDC – CHANGCHUN, Iranian national team winger and Vfl Wolfsburg fan favourite Ashkan Dejagah set his mark on Wolfsburg’s two games during their preseason tour in China.
The 26-year-old scored a 85th minute winner in the 3-2 over Chinese Super League side Changchun Yatai on Saturday.
Two days earlier, Dejagah had come off the bench to revive a lacklustre Wolfsburg side which was trailing Bayern Munich 0-2 and after initializing but wasting a big chane earlier, assited the late 1-2 of Czech international Pilar.
Dejagah had missed the end of last Bundesliga season due to injury and also was unavailabe in Iran’s World Cup qualifier in Uzbekistan in early June, before making a substitute appearance against Qatar.
The former Hertha Berlin man just recently joined Wolfsburg’s preseason camp after extended holidays due to his national team duties.
Wolfsburg will conclude their China trip with a friendly match against Shanghai Shenxin.
Highlight of the German club’s preseason, however, will be a home friendly against Manchester City on August 4.
