TEHRAN TIMES – TEHRAN, Mohsen Torki has been appointed as referee of Esteghlal and Persepolis match on Friday.
 
Tehran derby between the Iranian giants will be played at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
 
Torki will be assisted by Reza Sokhandan and Hasan Kamranifar and Ahmad Salehi has been selected as the fourth official during the 75th derby of Tehran.
 
Esteghlal and Persepolis have played against each other 74 times, with Esteghlal winning 24 games, Persepolis taking 18 victories, and 32 matches ending in a draw.
 
Persepolis has lost three matches out of five in the current season. The Reds are 16th in the standings table. It could be the last match for Portuguese coach Manuel Jose in Persepolis hot seat.
 
Esteghlal is also 9th in the table with one loss only.
