Samad Marfavi appointed as Saba coach

TEHRAN TIMES – QOM, Former Esteghlal coach Samad Marfavi has been named as the new head coach of Saba on late Monday.

Marfavi took charge of the Qom based team until the end of the season.

The 47-year-old coach replaced Yahya Golmohammadi in Saba. Golmohammadi was named assistant coach of Persepolis on Monday.

Saba sits in 7th place in the table after nine matches in the Iran Professional League.
