Esteghlal beats Saba [VIDEO]

PressTV – TEHRAN, Esteghlal has defeated Saba 1-0 by through an early opener in the 10th week of Iran’s Premier League (IPL).

The Blues held off Saba at Azadi stadium in Tehran by Arash Borhani’s early opener at the first minute of the match on Sunday.

In other games of the day, Damash and Zob Ahan played out to a scoreless draw, Naft Tehran and Teraktorsazi tied 1-1, Malavan downed Mes 2-1, Foulad trounced Naft Abadan 3-1, and the match between Aluminum and Fajr Sepasi finished 3-3.

Other fixtures of the week will be Saipa versus Persepolis, Rah Ahan versus Peikan, and Sepahan versus Gahar.

Sepahan is now on top of the table with 20 points and one game to go followed by Naft Tehran also on 20 points and Fajr Sepasi with 19 points. Esteghlal stands in the fourth place with 19 points and one match in hand.
