PFDC – BRAUNSCHWEIG, Eintracht Braunschweig goalkeeper Daniel Davari could be the next member of the Iranian diaspora to join the Iranian national team.

The 24-year-old is currently the backbone of the German Bundesliga 2 table toppers Eintracht Braunschweig, who extended their lead with a 3-0 win over Ingolstadt on Saturday afternoon.

The 1.92 m (6 ft 3.5 in) tall half-Iranian half-Polish keeper had already expressed his wish to play for Iran earlier this year and now reportedly will be visited by Carlos Queiroz within the next weeks.

Queiroz has already brought Ashkan Dejagah, Omid Nazari and Reza Ghoochannejhad to Team Melli.
