Persepolis held in Anzali [VIDEO]

TEHRAN TIMES – BANDAR ANZALI, Persepolis football team was held to a 2-2 draw by Malavan on Wednesday.

Just five minutes into the match, former Persepolis midfielder Maziar Zare gave a lead to Malavan with a long-range shot.

Persepolis Hadi Noruzi’s excellent strike leveled the match in the 50th minute. Four minutes later, Amir-Hossein Feshangchi put the visiting team in the lead.

Malavan put Persepolis under pressure and Ahmad Ahi headed the ball into Persepolis goal in the 62nd minute.

Elsewhere, Traktor Sazi drew 1-1 with Aluminum, Sepasi and Paykan played out a goalless draw, Sanat Naft was held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Zob Ahan, rock-bottom Gahar lost to Mes 1-0, Naft drew a goalless draw by Saipa and Sepahan thrashed Damash 3-0.
